Multiplayer or Single Player?

I'm interested in whether people would be more interested in this game being developed as a local multiplayer game or a single player game.  I have lots of ideas for both, but I'm not sure where the demand lies these days.  On the one hand, people can't have friends over like they used to but, on the other hand, people might be looking for something fun to do with they're families that they're stuck with all day.  I also noticing a big chunk of my referrals are from people searching for local co-op.  So if you want to leave a comment about which you would most like and why, I would really appreciate that (I'm not in any place to make this an online multiplayer or "Jackbox" style game right now).
